This therapy uses deep tissue techniques to relieve muscular tension and pain. Unlike traditional massage, it involves faster-paced strokes along with stretching and compression. Compression may be applied using the forearms, elbows, knuckles, fingertips, or specialist tools.

Stretching techniques vary—some are passive, with the practitioner moving the joints while the muscles are relaxed, while others require active participation from the client.

Despite the name, sports massage isn’t just for athletes—it’s effective for a wide range of conditions and lifestyles.

Pregnancy massage—also known as prenatal massage—is designed specifically for expectant mothers. It helps reduce swelling, ease joint and muscle pain, and promote relaxation using gentle, safe techniques.

This treatment is available after the first trimester. Depending on the stage of pregnancy, clients are supported with specialist cushions to ensure maximum comfort for both mum and baby.

Deep tissue massage is often used to treat musculoskeletal issues and employs techniques such as slow deep strokes to target the muscles and connective tissues. The pressures used in deep tissue are stronger and concentrated on problem areas. The practitioner may use their forearms, elbows, fingertips and knuckles to target areas. The purpose of the deep strokes is to breakdown adhesions in the tissue which are causing pain and/or restriction in movement.
